01Who we are
FutPrint is a trading-analytics terminal built and operated by TrueData ("TrueData", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the FutPrint website, the web terminal and the FutPrint apps for macOS and Windows (together, "FutPrint"), why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
02Information we collect
| Category | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Account | Name, email address and the profile details Google shares when you sign in with Google. A mobile number if you verify one by one-time code. |
| Plan and billing | Your plan, its period, amounts, discounts, GST and the order and payment references from Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered with Razorpay and never reach our servers. |
| Workspace content | Things you save to your account: layouts, watchlists, templates, scripts, alerts, journal entries and paper-trading accounts, orders and positions. |
| Usage and device | Pages and features used, errors, browser and device type, IP address, approximate location (city, region and country) and the campaign that brought you to us, such as UTM tags and ad-click identifiers. |
| Market-data access logs | Sign-ins, data requests and the symbols you subscribe to, with your email, IP address and browser. Exchange data licences require us to keep these records. |
| Messages | What you send us through feedback forms, email or community channels. |
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive data such as health or biometric information, and FutPrint does not hold your money or securities.
03How we use it
- To run FutPrint: sign you in, keep your workspace in sync across devices and apply the data and limits of your plan.
- To bill you: process payments, issue receipts and keep the tax records the law requires.
- To contact you about your account: welcome messages, receipts, trial and expiry reminders, and alerts you set up, such as Telegram alerts.
- To tell you about FutPrint: product news, feature announcements and offers, unless you switch them off.
- To improve the product: understand which features are used, find errors and fix them.
- To keep FutPrint secure and lawful: prevent abuse and account sharing, and meet exchange, tax and legal obligations.
From 8 November 2026 we email product news, feature announcements and offers to account holders unless they switch them off. Before that date we sent them only to people who opted in. Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also switch them off at any time in your profile's notification preferences. Account emails such as receipts and expiry reminders are not affected. We do not sell your personal data.
05Broker connections and desktop apps
Where FutPrint lets you connect a broker account, the keys and access tokens you enter are stored in your browser on your own device and sent directly to that broker. They are not sent to FutPrint's servers. Disconnecting or clearing your browser data removes them.
The macOS and Windows apps keep your sign-in token in the operating system's keychain or credential store. They use the same services described in this policy and do not add separate telemetry or crash reporting.
07Where data is processed
Some of the providers above, including analytics and email services, process data outside India, for example in the United States. Where data leaves India, we rely on those providers' contractual and security commitments and on the transfer rules of Indian law.
08How long we keep it
- Account and workspace content: for as long as your account is open. When the account is deleted, this content is deleted with it.
- Payment records: for the period that tax and accounting laws require, even after the account is deleted.
- Market-data access logs: up to three years, as exchange audit rules require.
- Analytics: for the retention period configured with each analytics provider.
09How we protect it
Traffic to FutPrint is encrypted in transit. Sign-in and sessions are handled by a dedicated identity provider, payments by a PCI-DSS compliant gateway, and access to production systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
10Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- Give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your account and personal data, apart from records we must keep by law.
- Stop marketing email, or withdraw any other consent you have given.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapacitated.
Email support@truedata.in from the address on your account and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can also update your profile, review and sign out of active sessions, and change notification preferences from your account at any time.
11Children
FutPrint is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use your personal data, we will tell you by email or in the terminal before it takes effect.
13Contact and grievances
Questions, requests and complaints about privacy go to our grievance team, who will acknowledge and resolve them within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
